- Where is the Argan Oil sourced?
-
We only use the world’s finest Argan oil, sourced directly from Southern Morocco and hand selected by Angela. Although Argan trees have been grown experimentally in other warm, arid environments, the trees (Argania Spinosa) grow only in one region of Morocco, the southwest area around Essaouira and Agadir. We personally select only the highest grade Argan oil, so you can be sure you’re getting the very best.

- What are the active ingredients in Argan Oil?
-
Fatty acids – Omega 6 (Linoleic acid), Omega 9 (Oleic acid) and Omega 3 (Linolenic acid) Tocopherols (Vitamin E) Squalene – incredible for reducing redness and swelling, Tyrosol and Catechin - Powerful and potent natural antioxidants which slow down cell damage and protect your skin from free radicals. Many of these ingredients can be found as man-made chemical versions in a variety of top line cosmetics and skin care products but are only found in their natural form in one product – Argan oil!
- Why do I need to use Retinol at night?
-
Retinol is best used at night because it makes your skin more sensitive to sunlight. It works by increasing cell turnover, which can make your skin more vulnerable to UV rays. Using it in the evening allows your skin to repair and renew while you sleep, without exposure to the sun.
For best results, apply Retinol after cleansing and follow with a hydrating moisturiser. Always wear SPF during the day to protect your skin while using Retinol.
- How do I use the Jade Roller?
-
The jade roller will help reduce puffiness, boost circulation, and enhance product absorption. To use it:
Apply your favourite facial oil or serum to clean skin.
Start rolling from the centre of your face outward—use upward strokes on your cheeks, forehead, and neck.
For puffy eyes, use the smaller end and roll from the inner corner outward. Store in the fridge for extra cooling!
- Why can't I use Retinol and Vitamin C together?
-
Retinol and Vitamin C are both powerful ingredients, but they work best at different times. Vitamin C is an antioxidant that protects your skin from sun damage and should be used in the morning. Retinol, on the other hand, can make your skin more sensitive to sunlight and is best used at night. Combining them can cause irritation, so it's best to use Vitamin C in the morning and Retinol at night for optimal results.
- I’ve heard Argan Oil can help with hair loss?
-
Argan oil contains compounds called phenols. These, along with antioxidants strengthen hair follicles and promote cell production in the scalp. The vitamins in Argan oil promote a healthy scalp which in turn, not only promotes hair growth but also makes sure that the new hair strands are thicker and healthier. We’d recommend using it in conjunction with other oils, such as Cedarwood, Thyme and Rosemary for an amazing all-natural support formula for excessive hair loss and Alopecia.
- I notice that the argan oil is a slightly different colour than my last bottle?
-
Arganics argan oil is a totally natural product, we don’t treat it in any way. The colour of the oil differs slightly depending on the time of year we harvest, and also the height at which the trees grow.
- Why has my Serum Separated?
-
This is perfectly normal and common when natural ingredients are used. If your serum has separated, simply give it a gentle shake before use to mix the ingredients back together. This will not affect the effectiveness or quality of the serum. At Arganics, we prioritise natural, high-quality ingredients, making a little separation a sign of a clean and pure formulation.
